Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant surprises and a few disappointments. The rooms were surprisingly quiet despite being close to the street, although they had a bit of an old smell. However, the comfort level was excellent, and the welcoming touch of being greeted with homemade lemonade was delightful. The service was a bit inconsistent, ranging from very friendly and helpful to slightly unhelpful on arrival. The location was convenient for visiting the Old City of Jerusalem, just a short walk to the Damascus gate, though some aspects needed improvement like cleaner surroundings and reduced costs. The dining experience was exceptional, with a wide selection of food and a comprehensive offering. The facilities were satisfactory, but with room for enhancement in certain areas.
From checking in and being welcomed with a cold glass of homemade lemonade to our modern and quiet room, the hotel offered a pleasant stay despite some noise from drilling works in the morning and being a bit cold. The location near Old Jerusalem and convenience to transport hubs made up for any minor inconveniences.
The hotel was in a great location, just a few minutes walk from Damascus Gate and perfect to stay near the Old City. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a double walk-in shower. The staff was fantastic and very helpful, making the stay enjoyable. The dining experience was exceptional with plenty of variety. However, the menu was fairly static which was a minor downside. The facilities were great with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Wow! This hotel is a gem! The rooms are lovely, the food is excellent, and the attention paid to detail by the staff is admirable. However, it can feel a bit cramped when full of groups. The buffet-style breakfast and dinner are set out beautifully, offering an extremely good choice. The room was reasonably well-equipped with an in-room safe, a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, and enough storage space with hangers. The overall freshness and cleanliness, along with amenities like air conditioning, heating, mini fridge, and kettle in the room, made the stay very comfortable and enjoyable.
